Jewelry Wearing Guide: Which Wrist to Wear a Bracelet

October 19, 2020

You’re all dressed up and ready to head out for the evening. Before you go, you should throw on a few accessories to complete your look. You’ve got a wide array of necklaces and bracelets that will go great with what you’re wearing.

You select a bracelet but as you throw it back and forth from wrist to wrist, you realize something. You don’t know which wrist to wear a bracelet on. You’re worried about distracting people from your outfit or making your hands look too busy.

Don’t panic! We’re here to give you a little bit of fashion advice. Keep reading to learn how you should wear your favorite silver bracelet.

Put it with Your Watch

If you want to bring a little bit of attention to your hands, you can wear a gold bracelet on the same wrist that you wear your watch on. You have to be careful with this look. There are a couple of situations where it doesn’t work.

For example, if you’re sporting an expensive luxury watch, don’t pair it with a bracelet. The bracelet may clink against the watch and scratch it up.

If you’re wearing a bright, gold watch with a huge face on it, it’s not a good idea to wear an equally as flashy bracelet on the same wrist. It will be way too much on the eyes.

That doesn’t mean that you can’t still wear the fancy bracelet. All we’re saying is that you should wear it on the opposite wrist if you don’t want your hands to look too busy.

Don’t Clutter Your Wrists

You’ve most likely heard the phrase, less is more. That applies to your Dreamland Jewelry. Wearing a few accessories can give your outfit a nice touch.

If you put too much on, it will distract from the outfit you put together. That’s where the single bracelet approach comes in.

For this minimalist look, it doesn’t matter which wrist you wear the bracelet on. All that matters is that you’re only wearing one of them.

Put it On Your Dominate Hand

We said that it doesn’t matter which wrist you wear your accessories on but, you might want to consider putting your bracelet on your dominant hand. This is because you use it more. Your bracelet will draw someone’s eye every time you reach out to take a glass or move a stray strand of hair behind your ear.

Become a Fashion Icon by Learning Which Wrist to Wear a Bracelet On

The way you wear your accessories can make or break a cute outfit. If you’re wearing a bunch of flashy bracelets on your wrist, it might distract everyone from your look.

On the flip side of this, it can also bring attention to that gorgeous manicure that you’re proud of. Learn which wrist to wear a bracelet on and make yourself the talk of the town.
