For an extra bit of flavor, add cinnamon or cocoa powder. Also, consider trying high protein iced coffee, which includes only two grams of sugar per serving.

Alternative Fruit

Grapefruit, roasted peaches, and orange halves are popular fruit snacks. Also, consider cooking sliced apples topped with cinnamon or nutmeg.

Jerky

Jerky is lean meat that is salted and turned into a high protein snack, and there are also vegetarian versions of jerky, as well as jerky based on fish or poultry. This snack is rich in protein and can help prevent hunger cravings.

Bananas

Frozen bananas are an exciting, nutritious snack. Peel the bananas, wrap them in waxed paper, and freeze them. Once they are frozen, you can slice them or use them as an ingredient in a tasty smoothie.

Chia Pudding

To make chia pudding, add a tablespoon of chia seeds to some vanilla soy milk. Once the milk starts to thicken, add some fresh fruit.

Kale Chips

To start making kale chips, remove the stems from the plants, and then break the leaves into small pieces and wash and dry them. Put the leaves on a sheet, add some olive oil and salt, then bake them for 15 minutes. Once the edges are brown, enjoy the chips.
