One way to make running several miles on a treadmill a little more fun is to put a large TV screen in your home gym, so that you’ll be able to binge watch your favorite TV series or watch movies, while you’re running on the treadmill or lifting weights on your workout bench. As an added bonus, you’ll also be able to play upbeat music videos on your TV screen.

If your home does not have the standard workout equipment that you would find at the gym, there are many affordable options out there. Even a couple of weights is better than none. You can also discover the different variety of Technogym benches and racks to see what best suits your needs.

  1. Place a large full length mirror on one of the walls in your home gym

In order to ensure that you’re completing each move correctly, when it comes to weight lifting or completing popular body resistance exercises such as squats and lunges, it’s well worth working out in-front of a full length mirror. If you’re struggling for inspiration when it comes to planning new workouts to add to your exercise regime, it’s well worth downloading a few different workout apps onto your smart phone. As most workout apps will provide you with a few free workout videos and routines, to complete. If you’re looking for a challenging, fun, full body workout, you may want to start off with completing a high intensity interval training app.

  1. Create a playlist of upbeat tracks to listen to while you workout

If music pumps you up and gives you the motivation which you need to complete your workouts, it’s well worth creating a brand new playlist of upbeat, workout appropriate tracks to listen to. Remember to rotate the playlists that you listen to each day and to continuously add new tracks that have a great beat to your workout playlists.

So if you want to fast track your fitness results and to motivate yourself to work out from home on a regular basis, it’s well worth implementing a few of the fitness tips listed above!
