The first Open was held in 1860 in Scotland. Since its inception, it’s been held at various golf courses around the United Kingdom. This year, the British Open will be held at St Andrews, otherwise known as the Home of Golf.
4. UEFA Women’s Euro
The UEFA European Women’s Championship is held once every four years. Previously known as the UEFA Women’s Cup, this tournament showcases some of the world’s best football players.
