It is important to accept the fact that road travel is riskier than other forms of transportation depending on the area in which something is sent.

This means you are not only aware of where your item is at all times, but also whether it is being transported safely, that the speed limits aren’t broken, and so on. This is just an extra little bit of protection that most people will welcome.
There are certainly situations in which road freight is not possible for the full journey. When it is, however, it should be the freight of choice.
