Some believers prefer to attend a smaller church, but others enjoy attending a service with hundreds of people.
Decide what church size you’d prefer. Smaller churches are more intimate and might make you feel more comfortable since you’ll get to know everyone, but larger services are also advantageous.

When you’re searching for churches in your local area, keep proximity in mind.
Are you willing to spend more time on your weekly commute to your church or do you want to attend a service that’s less than five minutes away? Of course, some more populated areas have more churches than others, so you’ll just have to find out what’s near you.
4. Amenities
Amenities are desirable features that help to enhance your church experience and make it easier for you to attend services. Here are some common amenities that some churches provide for their guests:

- wheelchair accessibility (handicap parking, ramps, restrooms, etc.)

5. Music Style
When you think of how to choose a church, music might not spring to your mind first. Still, music plays a large part in the church’s service, so if you don’t enjoy the style of music the church has you might not get as much value from the sermons.
Do you prefer to stand and sing worship hymns longer or do you just want a couple of songs sprinkled in here and there? Would you enjoy a band or just a singer and some violinists on stage?
