Do you know how the driving is in your city? Car accidents can happen anywhere, but they’re some cities that are far worse than others. Did you know that in 2018, 40,000 people died from a car crash?

In this article, you’ll read about the worst cities to drive in and avoid for safer driving. Read on now to learn what your chances are of getting in a fender bender in these cities.

1. Columbus

Did you know that the Columbus population rose by 10% since 2010? If you’re thinking of heading to Columbus, think again, it’s one of the most accident-prone cities in the U.S. Most accidents in this area are due to rear-ending. It’s important to remain distraction-free while driving, to minimize your risk of rear-ending someone.

2. St. Louis

St. Louis comes in second for an accident-prone city. Car accidents kill many in St. Louis, with 87 vehicles being involved in fatal car accidents in 2017. Some reasons for these high numbers in St. Louis are speeding and aggressive driving.

3. Los Angeles

When it comes to places to drive, Los Angeles might be one you’ll want to cross off your list. Los Angeles comes in at 3rd place for most accident-prone cities. Between 2016 and 2017 traffic collisions in Los Angeles increased by 5%.
