If you’re trying to tackle a new diet but keep getting held back by serious sugar cravings, you’re not alone.
The keto diet is a great way to get yourself on a healthier track. But how are you going to survive with no carbs or sugar?
Don’t worry. You actually can eat brownies, ice cream, and so much more when you go keto. Here are four delicious and simple keto diet desserts–so you don’t have to give up your healthy diet to get a sugar fix.
1. Birthday Cake Shake
For this recipe, first get together a base of ¼ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, ¼ cup nonfat Greek yogurt, and ¼ cup oatmeal. Put this in a blender with one cup of ice.
Then add 1½ scoops vanilla whey protein powder, 1½ tablespoons of a sugar substitute, and 1 tablespoon of sugar-free sprinkles.
Mix all of these together in the blender. Then blend until smooth and enjoy!
2. Fudgy Brownies
This chocolatey, moist, and fudgy brownie recipe is low carb and high protein.
First, melt together two ounces of dark chocolate and 12 tablespoons of butter. Then, crack in three eggs and mix them for one minute with a mixer.
Combine the dry ingredients—½ cup almond flour, ½ teaspoon baking powder, and ¼ cup dark cocoa powder—and add it to the chocolate mixture.
Transfer the batter to a pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. If you prefer your brownies a bit sweeter, you can add a sugar substitute or natural sweetener.
3. Cinnamon Roll Cheesecakes
To make the crust, preheat the oven to 325 degrees and line a muffin pan with parchment liners. In a bowl, whisk together ½ cup of almond flour, two tablespoons of a natural sweetener, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir in two tablespoons of melted butter until the mixture clumps together.
Divide among the muffin cups and press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for seven minutes, and then let cool while you prepare the filling.
Then, use a mixer to mix six ounces of softened cream cheese, three tablespoons of a natural sweetener, ¼ cup of sour cream, ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract, and one large egg until well combined. In a small bowl, whisk the mixture with another two tablespoons of the sweetener and two tablespoons of cinnamon.
Drop about two tablespoons of the mixture into each of the muffin cups. Sprinkle each one with a mixture of cinnamon and sweetener.
Bake the mixture for 15 to 17 minutes, until they’re almost set but the centers are still soft. Then, refrigerate for at least two hours until they’re set.

Lightly whisk in three whole eggs and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened. Finally, remove from heat and put the mixture into jars. You can store them in the fridge for up to two weeks.
