The idea of mediation can be overwhelming. We tend to associate meditation with sitting in silence for hours on end, but this isn’t necessary to reap the benefits. Devoting just five minutes a day to mindfulness will put you closer to your living your highest purpose.
Sometimes believing in something means believing in yourself. Boosting spiritual wellness doesn’t have to mean communing with a higher power. Meditating can simply be a way for you to foster a deeper connection with yourself.
Maintain a Positive Outlook
To attract positive things to your life, you need to maintain a positive outlook. Now, this doesn’t mean that you never have an off day or a bad moment. But it does mean that you devote time and energy to discovering the positives in your life.
Every day, in addition to finding a few things to be grateful for, set your intentions for the day ahead. Do your best to keep things in perspective and use positive affirmations to improve your mindset and stay focused.

This doesn’t mean changing your entire mindset or set of daily habits overnight. For effective change, make small adjustments over time. Start with meditating for 5-10 minutes a day, or making a conscious effort to shift your thought patterns when you feel them drift into a negative direction.
