Following the expert info provided on MyZeo's site, it appears that light sleep should account for more time at night than REM sleep. My sleep patterns are reversed from this. I have MUCH more REM sleep than light sleep. Here is a typical night:
REM: 4:42
Light: 1:44
Deep: 1:34
Also, the site states that the bulk of the REM sleep is later in the night prior to waking. Although I do have more REM sleep between 2:00 and 6:00 AM, I still ahve large amounts before 2:00 AM.
So, I was wondering if this reversal is a sign of an underlying condition, or simply a symptom of something else.
One more bit of important info: I caught an unknown viral infection 2 years ago and have suffered with profound Chronic Fatigue/Post Viral Fatigue (CFS/PVFS). Most of my central nervous system was involved and I suffer with muscle spasms, tremors, and pround stiffness. When I have a flare up, I notice serious changes in my sleep patters (hence, this is why I bought the ZEO).
Thanks...
