I wanted to buy the replacement headband but shipping gets calculated at a $87 - $139 to Australia. The item is light and tiny that would happily fit in an envelope. Obviously this totally incorrect and should be in the range of $10 for something that size (I ship from US a lot).
I contacted customer care but all they told me was to buy from amazon UK (which does not sell them). I tried from Amazon US but they will not ship the item to Australia. After I responded about this all I got was a sorry and they could do nothing... total FAIL!
My guess its just the weight value on the shipping calculator is wrong. Is there someone from ZEO that could forward this to who ever takes care of shipping to have a look as to why its so expensive?

Bart

Yes Yes Yes - This is Terrible
Same experience here. A completely incorrect calaculation of postage - basically the same price as the ZEO Mobile!
I have emailed but after reading this I am expecting no joy!

Use Electrodes
I had the same problem, along with the fact that the headband produced quite a lot of dropouts for me.
Then I saw this thread where one user was experimenting with the use of adhesive electrodes instead of the headband. I did a bit of searching and found an online store based in Werribee (Vic) that sells them.
They're called First Responder, and the electrodes are the Ambu Blue Sensor M. Pack of 50 for ~$15.
The electrodes themselves are absolutely brilliant. You can get four or five nights sleep out of one set of three before they lose their tackiness, so one pack may well last a couple of months. You don't even notice they're on your head, and it's pretty much impossible to dislodge them. When I switched to the electrodes, the sleep dropouts ceased completely.
You might want to give that a go.

Extremely frustrating
I'm having the same problem. So frustrated with zeo, I've had nothing but problems since I bought it and the overpriced shipping is the last straw for me.
I'm interested why a zeo staff member hasn't made a comment regarding their overpriced shipping costs, or offered to pass on the message to the person in charge of shipping. As Bart says the headbands are light and it shouldn't cost more than $10 to ship to Australia. US customers get free shipping yet we are charged more than $87!
Thanks for the suggestion sloth, will check it out, otherwise see how much shipping from amazon will be.
