I've been using the Zeo for a bit more than a week now, and my ZQ scores average a 44 (twice in the 20s and twice in the 30s).
I extracted the 5-minute data from the exported CSV, and out of 10,466 5-minute periods, I was awake 45% of the time, REM 25% of the time, light sleep 25% of the time, and deep sleep 6% of the time.
I am awakened a dozen times per night on average, average time to sleep being 92 minutes (total Z average a bit less than 6 hours).
Anyone else have horrible sleep according to the Zeo mobile?

I've got the opposite problem
I've got the opposite problem... I'm apparently in deep sleep nearly all the time, including while I'm standing up and stretching, conversing with my partner, drinking a glass of water, etc. Almost as soon as I put the headband on, it records deep sleep... and I've even tried two different headbands (Zeo sent me a new one when I told them about my problem, but I haven't gotten any new responses from customer support).
I'm inclined to chalk it up to Zeo's algorithm being a one-size-fits-most solution. Human bodies are incredibly variable, and it's pretty hard to come up with definite metrics for what are fairly random signals. I'm planning on loading up the raw data library (I've got the bedside model) and working on a program that will let me dig into the data and perhaps customize the decision algorithm to be me-specific. Of course, if there is the chance that our hardware isn't working properly, but the fact that we're on such opposite ends of the spectrum makes me think it's an algorithm problem that's just unlucky.

Hi Leslie, I'm sorry to hear
Hi Leslie, I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Zeo Mobile readings. It seems that there might be an underlying issue causing the large amount of wake readings. Please contact us at customersupport@myzeo.com so that we can do some more in-depth troubleshooting with you! Thanks!

I am finding the same thing.
I am finding the same thing. Apparently I am awake hours per night. You would think I would remember at least some of that.

@Charbucks this might be it-
@Charbucks this might be it--individual differences.
@Melissa I emailed support and they just gave a template response--there's a fine line between sleep & awake which can be ambiguous. I've actually looked at the more detailed 30-second interval data and the wake rate seems similar.
I don't identify as currently having a lot of insomnia, but my time-to-sleep is usually 90+ minutes. Over the course of the last 8 weeks, I've averaged somewhere over 2+ hours awake from when I put on the sensor.
That said, there are good days and bad days. Apparently I sleep well on Sundays (and sometimes days following) when I exercise 8-10 hours on Saturday & Sunday morning/afternoon.
My ZQ average for 8 weeks is 52, but I've had 4 nights with 90+ ZQ, and those are always preceded by working out at least 8-10 hours the weekend prior.
I generally do not consume caffeine or liquor, and I keep my bedroom cool and try not to watch movies / read in bed. Exercising in the afternoon for only 1-2.5 hours doesn't help my sleep--don't have that much data on early morning exercise that is shorter than a few hours.
Short story, I think it's because I don't sleep that well in general. I do have an appointment at the Stanford sleep clinic next week, we'll see what they say!

Hi Leslie-
Hi Leslie-
My name is also Leslie, and I am also awake waaaaay more than I ever realized. I've been using the bedside unit for two weeks now and I seem to be waking up 15-30 times a night (that's a rough average-I'm not sure how to do a screen shot yet). I've seen some other people post screen shots of their graphs and mine seems to be so erratic in comparison. There is nothing resembling a cycle of any kind.
I have always had the problem of being able to sleep too much. When I first started seeing a sleep specialist and he would if I was sleeping well I would say "I'm sleeping way too well and way too much of it." But apparently I'm not!

Apparently my sleep has
Apparently my sleep has gotten better. I realized that if I exercise in the morning (preferably 2-4 hours if possible...!) I sleep better than if I do so in the afternoon!
