Current Web API Integrations with Zeo

English

Hey all,

For those of you keeping score at home, here's a handy list (with links!) of the Web API and partnerships that we've announced here on Zeology and on our Facebook page.  I exepect this to grow over time, so this is by no means a definative list.

Exercise and Fitness

  • Digifit --your own personal trainer and workout statistician, all on your phone
  • Daily Burn--all in one fitness log, weight loss motivator, and nuitritionist
  • Withings --super precision scale for tracking weight--and how much of that is body fat
  • Runkeeper --more than just runs, it's now a mobile fitness platform
  • Sport Tracks --workout tracking for the hard core athletes and data geeks

Mood and Mental Heath

  • MercuryApp --track mood, emotions, and mental performance during the day

Dashboard for Life

  • Gravity Eight --achieve balance and well-being accross all aspects of your life.

If you've done an integration using our Web API that you'd like to share, please post below--and thanks!

I've developed a very small Android app in my spare time which uses the web API to display sleep time charts, it's extremely basic right now but i'm (slowly) working on it.

It's available at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.raibaz.myzeo&feature=search_result

Andi -  I know you and TrainingPeaks are working hard on getting the API between Zeo and TrainingPeaks to work.   TrainingPeaks already has the fields setup for the key information.

Do you have any idea when it will be operational ?  I know that TrainingPeaks does work well with Withings (WiFi Scale) already.

I'm sure many athletes using Zeo would love this feature.

Thanks.

Ben,

No, no word yet but rest assured you'll be one of the first to hear about it when it happens!

Cheers

I am also looking forward to integration with TrainingPeaks!  Please keep us all infomred. Thanks.

Is there any hope for TrainingPeaks integration ?

Is the problem with TrainingPeaks API or ZEO API ?

Would love a little better explanation as to why Withings scale works with TP but we can't get Zeo.

Cry

Thanks.

I second that. Any update on the progress?

Thanks

Has there been any progress on Zeo and trainingpeaks integration?  Thanks.

Got this from the folks at training peaks:

We just rolled out changes to our API and support for all the ZEO metrics (like ZQ). It will now be up to Zeo to write the integration to push the data from them to us. Feel free to ping them and encourage them to work on it. Note that they have been waiting for us to get this done, so we've been the hold-up until now.

Hopefully Zeo will be able to push to trainingpeaks soon!

Definitely interested in seeing integration with TrainingPeaks

Come on folks at Zeo - let's get the 'push' finalized with Training Peaks. Just think of the increased sales due to athletic demand. I've done the first coaching sessions and figure that without Training Peaks integration - to determine how much sleep I need for optimal performance, this device is cute but not that helpful in real life...

There are enough posts here to emphasize the importance of having Zeo push to TrainingPeaks.  I am sure that if you put some energy into it the payback would be significant.  There are thousands of athletes that would most likely purchase Zeo if you a) added this feature and b) advertised.  Those of us who have posted have been waiting long enough.  Come on, get moving!

Folks at Zeo;

I do like the Zeo Mobile, but the integration to TP is kind of a must for athletes.

Example of what happens, if you do not follow up: I have a Tanita BC-1000 scale and am not replacing it with its successor, because it does not integrate with TP. I am buying a Whitings instead...

Don't disappoint your followers. Please get it done.

The Withings Scale is a perfect example of how the integration should work. I thing the above comments reflect the demand, but as a year approaches since this topic was started there has been only the improvement to manually enter sleep quality numbers on TP.

I think I speak for all when I say, crap of get off the pot.

Come on Zeo folks!  These threads are starting to look negative.  At least post a reply here stating where things are.  You have a good product, but support, on this issue at least, is not looking good.

Any news?!? How about just a post from the Zeo folks to show that you are tracking our comments. This string is starting to reflect badly on Zeo's customer support involvement. Thanks.

I have (at least) a handful of friends who would buy a Zeo if it integrated into TP.  I realize that Zeo has lots of priorities, but I'd venture to say that this isn't too complicated.  Please make it happen.

Thanks.

Has this been setup?
This page: http://support.trainingpeaks.com/whats-new.aspx indicates that with the 11/10/2011 update to TP (TrainingPeaks Build 3.0.20111110) that these "New Features" have been added:
•Added additional sleep metrics to TrainingPeaks Mobile
•Added Zeo ZQ score to Metrics (more info on Zeo can be found at http://www.myzeo.com)
I can't seem to locate an actual link for the Zeo...
Thanks for your reply

There are a number of direct questions asking for updates on a topic that ZEO started.  Yet . . . silence.  If you're not interested in communicating with your existing (and prospective) customers, why bother with a forum?

(While I'd love an actual answer, I imagine the answer may be found in the mid-March blog post that states - "The only thing you won't find is a boring, static company blog.  Scout's honor."  Of coure it's been static since then . . .)

Blue Ant is exactly right.  Many of us became customers on the understanding that Zeo, unlike many other technology companies, would not only maintain a healthy level of interaction with their user community, but also be guided by that community.  It seems this attitude is in decline - here's my attempt to do alert Zeo to the issue:

http://www.myzeo.com/sleep/does-zeo-read-support-forums-or-not

Silence is the worst possible attitude they can adopt.  It would put them in the same category as godawful companies like Suunto and Spotify (speaking from bitter experience).

Apparently forums aren't the answer... and the promise in the email of a response within the next business day doesn't hold (it's been more than three).

We really want to inlcude Zeo sleep data in our new Life Management Framework -- but patience is wearing thin.

Has anyone on here been able to use Oauth to access a user's data? There's a sample of the URLs to use, but we can't figure out how to get the appropriate keys. (No, Zeo, an API key is not the same thing.)

How about it tech/developer support? Are you there???
