Data stopping after short time - multiple...

English

This week, Zeo has stopped recording data after about 1.5 - 2 hrs into the night.  I've have previously worn the head band for 2-3 weeks without any major issues.  The first data drop was this week - followed by two good nigts of recording, then another night of data stopping to be recorded after about 1.5 hours of sleep.  I already had imprints on my fore head from the head band so it's not an issue of the head band being too loose.  However, a friend suggested that he had a similiar problem and tightening the band resolved his issue.  I attemtped that the following night with a tightned head band.  I woke up around 3:30 am with discomfort from the head band so I took it off.  The next morning I checked the data and it had stopped collecting a few hours before I had taken the band off.

What are your suggestions?

Hi Peter! Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your headband! Could you please email customersupport@myzeo.com so that we can do a little more in-depth troubleshooting on this? Thank you! You can put the subject of the email as "ATTN: Melissa" to make sure that it comes directly to me!

Thanks Melissa - will.

I also tried tightening the headband because of "failed brain detections" where no "head" icon accompanied the "headband" icon, but it didn't help, and I also started noticing my lack of tolerance to the headband when I wake up around 3am.

Hey guys, this is something I do EVERY night before going to sleep. Maybe this will help:

Close ALL apps from background running so that your iphone/ipad RAM/Memory does not run out in the middle of night causing the app to crash/close!!!! (VERY IMPORTANT STEP)

Another thing: Make sure to go to settings EVERY night and go to bluetooth and CONNECT TO ZEO HEADBAND!!!! You may have connected to something else (bluetooth headset) or it just stopped connecting for some reason!!!! (ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT STEP)

Then put on the headband and DO NOT hit Home button or Sleep button on your iphone/ipad, just leave the app open it will dimm in about a minute. You can put it face down if you don't like the screen light.

I know all this sounds simple BUT they HELP A LOT!!!

Been doing all this with my Zeo and never had trouble recording (except one night when I forgot to charge it, oh forgot to mention lol, Make sure it is charged too!! )

My phone runs of android and is stock everything. There is no way other than to kill all other apps aside from maybe killing the 4g or using airplane mode but that kill all network so the zeo app wouldnt work either I'd guess. Any suggestions?

Hi Lazarus,

There is not a typically good way to kill all other apps running in the background on an Android unless you have a task killer type app installed on your phone.  However, if you are having issues with your app running, please contact us at customersupport@myzeo.com so we can help you troubleshoot!
