How feasible would it be to have a piece of software (or an adaption of Dan's ZeoScope) to actually count the number of sleep spindles and K complexes?

...or is it just a case of estimating using the Beta 11-14 data?

I'm not keen on manually counting them, but I have a feeling that is what I will end up doing.

Thank you to 'eok' for his advice re: the arduino.

 

I've looked at the code kindly provided by 'dancodru'  in his demo app 'ZeoScope - great stuff, but why, oh why, did you code it in Microsoft C# ??!!

 

There's C++, Java,... so why did you decide to lock it into a 'MicroSerf'- only OS?   Still, I'm grateful for what you gave us - Thanks.

ZQ is a Poor Metric for Sleep Quality.  Is there way to include an alternative?

Hello, everyone - I recently purchased my first Zeo, and am enjoying it very much.  In a way, it's gotten me back into being interested in my sleep, and how to improve it.  So, thank you to both the people at Zeo, and the community that's forming here.  I really like it.  :)

Biological sex, that is. The kind that operates within your body, affecting everything from blood pressure, to hormone production, to sleep. We like to say that it doesn't matter, that we're all equal - until it does.

A recent Wall Street Journal article was just another reminder that sex, indeed, does matter.

I'm trying to setup  GUI Viewer for the first time  (on Python3.2 on WindowsXP, x32,  RDL2.6.3R or RDL2.6.3O).
I believe I followed all the instructions of this and other forums for setting up and running ZeoDisplayGUI.pyw, ( istalled cable, which shows as COM5, all libraries, etc.),

but I'm still getting this error:
