Blue Light Does Not Flash on My Zeo

English

For the past two days, the blue light has stopped flashing on my ZEO.  As a result, I can not get my Android to discover the ZEO and can not track my sleep.  Any ideas on what I should do next?

Thanks,

Justin

Hi there, I am sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble with your headband. I would like to make a couple suggestions here.

1.  If you have not already done so, I would highly recommend that you update the firmware on your headband.  The firmware update was designed to improve on the stability of the Bluetooth connection between the headband and your phone.  You can find the instructions and information on the firmware update here:  www.myzeo.com/sleep/update

2.  If you have already completed the firmware update, you can also do a factory reset on the headband.  Please be advised, a factory reset will lose any pairing information, sleep data, and sensor pad life count, however previous firmware updates will still be retained. To do a factory reset, press and hold the button on the headband for approximately 20-30 seconds. The blue LED will begin flashing slowly, then stop flashing, then start flashing quickly.  As soon as it stops flashing quickly, release the headband button.  At this point, the headband is now reset and off.  To turn the headband back on, place the headband on the dock and then remove it.

If you have tried both of these options and are continuing to have problems with your headband, please contact us at customersupport@myzeo.com so we can do some further troubleshooting with you!

Hey there.
I was having the same problem after 10 days of owning my headband. After trying all sorts of things and at my wits end of the different things it could be I finally got it to connect :)

I want to say thank you for posting your question and for Melissa for posting the info to the update. Prior to that my headband sensor light wasn't even coming on unless I pressed the top button to force it to go to a sync mode but even then it wouldn't sync. I thought maybe it wasn't charging and found that actually it is a bit sensitive when you put it on the dock and to really make sure that the green light is coming on and blinking otherwise there isn't a connection and it is not charging. Then I learned about the reset for it and I did that. Before all of that - I took the app off my ipod, reinstalled it, and reset/restarted my ipod as well. Before all of this my info from my ipod wasn't syncing to the computer on my account for myzeo so I wasn't sure if it was my ipod or my zeo.

After all said and done.... I went to settings/general/bluetooth - found my zeo under the bluetooth where it saw it but would not connect then I made it forget the device and then refind it and BAM!!! :) It connected. So, looks like I will see tomorrow if it works and if it syncs to my account. Just wanted to share this in case anyone else has this problem in the future.

I love this device and have enjoyed it while it was working and looking forward to gathering more data. I know it is not diagnostic, but I can't tell you how revealing it is to me to see something that isn't even that specific but yet tells a very clear story as to what seems to be going on I think. So thank you.

Heather
