Zeo records REM sleep when I'm sure I'm dreaming but also aware of certain things, such as discomfort (shoulder pain). Is being aware (at least frequently) possible in REM sleep and is the REM just as restful for the mind and body ( and towards ZQ)?
In addition, I wake up and get out of bed (not for any medical reason or to use the bathroom, just awake) at least 8-9x/night. Despite that, I'm getting good ZQ scores because of so much time in REM and DEEP sleep, yet feel very tired when I awaken (total time asleep is generally 7 hours). Are all of these frequent awakenings weighted enough in the algorithm? I looked at the weighted scores and I wonder how much this sleep disruption affects the quality of sleep? Thanks.
